Getting ready
It is advised to wear suitable protective personal equipment (PPE) and be in safe working environment. Before starting this maintenance process, below tasks must be completed:
- Disconnect battery / power supply

Steps to follow
Step 1 Removing Hand Grips & Throttle
| 1.1 Using hand, carefully pull out the hand grip from the right-side of the handlebar. | |
| 1.2 If the bike has a throttle, continue to pull out the throttle from the handlebar. | |
| 1.3 Repeat the hand grip removal step for the other hand grip on the left-side of the handlebar. |
Step 2 Removing Brake Levers
| 2.1 Using an Allen Key, loosen up the screw on both Front & Rear Brake Lever. | |
| 2.2 Using hand, carefully pull out the brake lever from the right-side of the handlebar. | |
| 2.3 Repeat the hand grip removal step for the other hand grip on the left-side of the handlebar. |
Step 3 Removing Fingerprint Module
| 3.1 Using an Allen Key, loosen up the screws on the back side of the Fingerprint Module. | |
| 3.2 Using hand, carefully pull out the Fingerprint Module from the handlebar. |
Step 4 Removing old Handlebar
| 4.1 Using an Allen Key, loosen up 4 units of Socket Head Cap screws on the Stem Top. Then, remove all screws from the Stem Top. | |
| 4.2 Once all screws has been removed, lift-off the Stem Top and set it aside. | |
| 4.3 Remove the old handlebar from the Stem Body |
Step 5 Installing new Handlebar
| 5.1 Take the new Handlebar & align it into the Stem Body. Make sure that the handlebar fits perfectly into the Stem Body. | |
| 5.2 Make sure that the handlebar is centered and the length is well balanced on the right & left side. | |
| 5.3 Once the alignment of handlebar has been completed, take the Stem Top and carefully align it on top of handlebar. Make sure that all screw holes are aligned. | |
| 5.4 Using an M5 Allen Key, insert and firmly tighten 4 units of Socket Head Cap screws. |
Step 6 Re-installing Fingerprint Module
| 6.1 Using hand, carefully slot in the Fingerprint Module into the left-side of handlebar. | |
| 6.2 Make sure that the Fingerprint Module are slotted until it reaches the end. Check the orientation and ensure that the orientation is facing towards the correct direction. | |
| 6.3 Using an Allen Key, insert & tighten up all screws on the back side of Fingerprint Module. |
Step 7 Re-installing Brake Levers
| 7.1 Take the Rear Brake Lever, and slot it into the right-side of the handlebar. | |
| 7.2 Make sure that the brake lever is slotted until it reaches the end. Check the orientation and ensure that the orientation is facing towards the correct direction. | |
| 7.3 Using an Allen Key, tighten up the screw on the Rear brake lever. | |
| 7.4 Take the Front Brake Lever, and slot it into the right-side of the handlebar. | |
| 7.5 Make sure that the brake lever is slotted until it reaches the end. Check the orientation and ensure that the orientation is facing towards the correct direction. | |
| 7.6 Using an Allen Key, tighten up the screw on the Front brake lever. |
